The aim of the weekend is to draw people into a personal relationship with Jesus through
word, sacrament and personal prayer, especially the Rosary and Eucharistic adoration.
The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed throughout the forty hours of the festival to
facilitate this.
The primary message of the little portion is : 'God is love' expressed in Jesus Christ.
The secondary message is our call to respond to His love with a life of
holiness as members of His Church, whatever state of life we are called to.
All the speakers at the little portion are Franciscans or have an affinity with the Franciscan spirituality and the talks all have Franciscan titles. The little portion is an offering of our service to the Church. By using the charisms God has given us, we can hope that the Lord will fulfil His promises and bless the people who come to this event.
